The Carthusian Monastery of Pavia

Take your students on an unforgettable journey through the Charterhouse ofi Pavia. The guided tour of the monument includes a detailed exploration up to the transept gate, where we will be accompanied by a monk as we visit the interior spaces of the monastery. This tour offers a rare opportunity to immerse yourself in the history, art and spirituality of one of the most fascinating places in the region.

Special: Battle of Pavia

2025 marks the five hundredth anniversary of the Battle of Pavia, a historical event of international importance which changed European history forever.
We will organize special itineraries for this occasion. The details, as soon as the Municipality prepares the relevant exhibitions and events.

Explore Pavia through our educational guided tours, ideal for schools of all levels. Each mode is designed to offer a unique and engaging experience, tailored to students’ specific needs and interests.

Primary School

For primary schools, we offer the possibility of taking the guided tour in protected, quiet places away from traffic. By alternating moments of
explanation with moments of play, the children will be involved and asked to participate personally in this beautiful experience. In the setting of the splendid Visconti Castle, the guided tour can also include a visit to the museum rooms and can be adapted to different historical moments.

Lower secondary school

We offer two methods: the “Traditional Visit” and the “PLAY CITY TREASURE HUNT”. The latter, created in 2019 and increasingly popular, is perfect for discovering Pavia and Vigevano. The students are personally involved through tests, moments of theatricality and team games that will lead them to the finish line of victory. At the end, there will be an awards ceremony.

Secondary school

We offer guided tours that make the city interesting and engaging even for older students. Our activities are designed to stimulate interest and learning through thematic itineraries and historical, artistic and cultural insights.

Upon request, it will be possible to delve into various historical-artistic moments linked to the city.

Play in the City Treasure Hunt

This guided tour method, suitable for school groups but also for pre-established groups of children, teenagers and adults, represents a fun way to visit the city, admire its monuments, learn historical-artistic notions, but doing so in a fun and engaging way. Divided into teams, participants will compete with skill tests, quizzes, themed games and moments of theatricality. At the end, after a mathematical calculation of the points, the winner will be proclaimed.

The costs for guided tours vary depending on the type of activity chosen. For a traditional visit the cost starts from €130.

If you prefer a more interactive and playful experience, you can opt for the PLAY THE CITY mode which starts from €150, this includes games and activities designed to involve students in a fun and educational way.
